Josie Davis
A Hollywood, California native, Josie Davis is an actress also a producer as well as writer. Davis began her acting profession as a kid actor in television commercials. At the age of a small girl, she became a regular presenter on Charles In Charge. The show ranked number one in syndication. Josie received three nominations for the most prestigious Youth In FIlm Award, which she took home for her role of Sarah Powell. Davis was an actor of note on numerous TV shows when she was an adult. She won Lifetime Movie Network Awards for her performance. Even though she had the option of enrolling in USC's highly regarded creative writing course, Davis chose to keep acting, studying intensely with Paul E Richards. Paul E Richards for twenty years. Davis, at the age of 24, auditioned before the biggest stars of Hollywood, Shelley Winters and Mark Rydell along with Martin Landau. Davis became a member of the famous Actors Studio after just one audition. Davis was granted permission to work and later appointed a Lifetime Member. Davis wasn't the only one of two actors who were admitted into the Studio at the time.
