Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and sole child one of Richard McCormick. She was the home of her mother and also mother to her children. She has three older brothers: Michael Dennis and Kevin. McCormick was a gifted entertainer and singer at a young age. Her passion was to show puppet shows for the neighbors. She was crowned in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest at age 6 and was approached via Pat Domigan, a talent agent from the Jack Wormser Agency. He asked her if she wanted to be a part of the business of show production. McCormick got her first big task in 1964 as she acted in a television commercial for Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. The same year, she starred in another commercial that aired on TV for Chatty-Cathy's doll. After that, she was cast at La Jolla Playhouse to play the character of Wind It up and It breaks. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was chosen from a field of 1,200 kids who auditioned for the chance for the role of the oldest of three daughters towheaded on the brand new TV show The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed as newlyweds with a blended family. The show ran for five seasons and the show was a great success. In her autobiography Heres the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice which was published in 2008 McCormick disclosed that during the fifth season, she was close to losing her virginity to her screen co-star and brother Barry Williams. He was 19. She was 16. It would have happened she stated, but the time wasn't right for us.
