Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. Her birth date was the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was accepted into the Royal Academy of Music in London during the 1970s when she learned the flute piano and harpsichord for three years. She lived off of a student allowance and took in part-time jobs to increase her funds. Lennox was able to make a change in her path in life when she was dissatisfied with her inexperience in contrast to the other Royal Academy students. Lennox played the flute in the 1976 group called Dragons Playground. But she quit prior to New Faces, the I.T.V. talent contest. She was the main voice in The Tourists a British pop band from 1977 to the year 1980. It was here that she got to know Dave Stewart and together they created The duo Eurythmics. Lennox started working on Diva in 1992. It was her first solo album. Commercially and critically the album was a massive hit. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album came out on October 31, 2014. The C.D.
